CLASS DESCRIPTION

We will be learning how to FUSE sterling silver textures on to 18k or 22k backing and then add gold embellishments on the surface of the ring. Once the ring is formed you may choose to frame the ring in 18k pale yellow flat wire or sterling silver flat wire. Learn how to frame negative space for a stone, create a double frame and make your own bi metal for fusing patterns. We use Sterling from TB Hagstoz & Sons because it always fuses well. Students are encouraged to bring metal textures that they may have from previous workshops with Marne.
